AR Collections Specialist

Salary: USD24 - USD27 per hour LaSalle Network is hiring for an AR Collections Specialist to join our client's accounts receivable team in Glenwood, IL. This AR Collections Specialist opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a high-volume collections environment, strong customer communication and keeping receivables moving efficiently. In this contract role, the AR Collections Specialist will support coverage for a temporary medical leave and may have the opportunity to convert to full-time, depending on business needs. The team offers a hybrid work environment and hands-on training up front, with the expectation of working independently once ramped. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices to support timely customer payments. Communicate with customers via email to resolve billing questions, payment status updates and collection-related issues. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to reconcile accounts and document collection activity in the system. Prioritize a high volume of collections outreach and escalates accounts as appropriate to drive resolution. Support coverage for a temporary medical leave and assist during a potential ERP implementation overlap, as needed. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable or a related function. Strong written email communication skills and proven customer relationship skills. Experience in B2B and/or B2C collections (B2Bpreferred, per the team). Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment after initial hands-on training.
