Therapist PRN (As Needed)

The Therapist will provide social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Parkwood Behavioral Health System. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning / case management, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the facility.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree required in a health or human services field.
• Experience: One (1) year prior psychiatric experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: LCSW, LPC or LMFT preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of individual, group and family therapy theory and practice, case management, group leadership skills, discharge planning, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
