Territory Sales Engineer - Raleigh / Eastern NC

What you´ll do

• Provide technical field sales support to maximize sales growth of Henkel’s General Industrial Adhesives business in the Raleigh / Eastern North Carolina territory.
• Work the sales process to identify, develop and quantify the appropriate value proposition for your customers by matching their needs with our adhesive solutions.
• Motivate and train authorized industrial distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions.
• Develop and present formal training sessions for industrial and manufacturing MRO and OEM customers.
• Implement strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel’s product lines in the territory.
• Prioritize & execute sales/marketing programs for the assigned area in alignment with Henkel’s go-to market strategies.
• Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team.
• Utilize Henkel’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales engagement activities and project pipeline.
• Offer a proactive and consultative approach to exploring needs and finding innovative solutions for customers with the support of our technical team
• Collaborate internally with customer service, marketing, engineering, and other functions to deliver excellent customer experience while driving sustainable growth
• Represent the values of the company thinking in a broad and agile way.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business.
• 3+ years of Technical Sales preferred.
• Technical aptitude, relationship-building skills, and being a self-starter are required.
• Strong value selling skills required.
• Strong Interpersonal skills required.
• Intermediate Microsoft proficiency is required, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Time and territory management skills required, working remotely.
• Minimum 30% travel requirement in designated territory.
• Territory will encompass Raleigh, Durham, and Eastern NC, must reside within territory.

The salary range for this role is $65,000.00 and $80,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable.  The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
