About The Role We are seeking a skilled Data & Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The primary objective of this role is to advise and support our business units in data acquisition and presentation, enabling them to evaluate and optimize their performance effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of data used for analysis, thereby underpinning strategic decision-making processes within the organization. This position requires close collaboration with subject matter experts, business groups, data scientists, and analysts to precisely define business requirements, integrate diverse data sources, and extract valuable insights. You will develop comprehensive data models that span all global business functions, and work on the development, rollout, and support of business intelligence (BI) solutions. Additionally, you will create new reporting concepts, evaluate emerging BI tools, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our data platform's operational, authorization, and data quality frameworks. Your expertise will also be instrumental in developing and maintaining planning applications that support our corporate strategy, making this a pivotal role in our digital transformation journey. Qualifications The ideal candidate holds a university degree in (business) informatics, data engineering, engineering sciences, mathematics, or a comparable field, complemented by several years of relevant professional experience in data and analytics. Experience with SAP Business Warehouse or similar technologies is highly desirable. A keen interest in modern data platforms and a proactive attitude towards shaping the future of data analytics landscapes is essential. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of business contexts and have a comprehensive overview of various business functions to effectively translate requirements into technical solutions. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently. A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning are key to thriving in this role. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include advising business departments on data sourcing and presentation techniques to facilitate performance evaluation and process optimization. You will ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytical purposes. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, business units, data scientists, and analysts, you will define precise business requirements, integrate multiple data sources, and derive meaningful insights. Developing and implementing data models that support global business functions is a core aspect of your role. You will also be responsible for developing, rolling out, and supporting BI solutions in partnership with relevant departments, creating innovative reporting concepts, and assisting in the evaluation of new BI tools. Furthermore, you will contribute to the conceptualization and continuous improvement of operational, authorization, and data quality frameworks within our data platform. Developing and maintaining planning applications to support strategic initiatives will be an integral part of your duties, ensuring that data-driven decision-making remains at the heart of our corporate processes.
