Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Weekly Pay

Certified Respiratory Therapist Certified Respiratory Therapist Role Overview Provides specialized respiratory care in clinical settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to assess and manage patient needs. Performs tests, interprets results, and administers therapies including artificial airway management, mechanical ventilation, and aerosolized medications. Works autonomously, often during night shifts, in a hospital environment with NICU and birthing unit experience preferred. Responsibilities Perform and interpret patient tests and procedures related to respiratory care. Manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, and oxygen therapy. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members for optimal patient care. Operate independently in diverse clinical settings, adhering to protocols. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED required. CPR-AHA and NRP certifications mandatory. 2+ years of relevant experience as an RRT. Certification to manage artificial airways and ventilators. Ability to work night shifts, including weekends, with rotating schedules. NICU experience, including level 2/3 NICU and delivery room, preferred. Key Duties Execute respiratory tests, manage ventilator settings, administer medications, and support patient recovery. Must meet compliance and certification standards, with a focus on NICU and neonatal care.
