Evening Shift Description: CLINICAL INPATIENT PHARMACIST BOISE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Evenings Relocation assistance available SUMMARY: Provides pharmaceutical care to customers of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. The Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center. This could include providing support to emergency medicine, MS, geriatrics, and critical care patients. REQUIREMENTS:

Evening Shift Description: CLINICAL INPATIENT PHARMACIST BOISE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Evenings Relocation assistance available SUMMARY: Provides pharmaceutical care to customers of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. The Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center. This could include providing support to emergency medicine, MS, geriatrics, and critical care patients. REQUIREMENTS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required. Residency preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
- At least two years of inpatient, acute care experience as a pharmacist required.
- Within 6 months of hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)
- Opportunity will provide opportunities for the pharmacist to provide clinical support to six satellite services that include critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and critical care.
- Prepares pharmaceutical products for patients' use by safe and cost-effective methods using acceptable professional standards.
- Comprehends and supports quality assurance and risk management issues.
- Precepts residents and students
- Reviews patient history incorporating various pharmacy activities providing customers with adequate education for optimum outcomes.
- Participates in various departmental duties, material resource management, clerical and financial responsibilities, safety, and other issues.
- Supervises technicians and pharmacy support staff.
