Post Closing Assistant Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The Post Closing Assistant Manager will be responsible for the direct supervision of Government Insuring and Pre Closing CD review staff and will oversee other areas in Post Closing, Imaging and Central File Review as necessary to ensure a smooth operation and that department goals are being met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assume responsibilities for Post Closing, Imaging, and Central File Review as needed Oversee daily operations of Government Insuring and Pre Closing CD review Maintain daily balance of workflow to assure timely completion and release of Post Closing files and documents Work with Purchasing, Auditing and Imaging areas to maintain productivity and department goals Review weekly insuring reports, identify problems, and help to resolve Research problems in areas of supervision and work to make process improvements Manage employee timecards and make adjustments as needed Prepare and present annual reviews of supervised employees Help promote harmony both with department staff and staff working with other departments Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Some high school coursework High School diploma Some college completed Associate’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree Master’s Degree

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

5+ years of mortgage origination experience 5+ years of supervisory experience Thorough understanding of Post Closing, Imaging and Central File Review procedures Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and internal company systems Ability to detect problems and errors quickly to reduce negative impact Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Communicating in English to locate, read, and report information Ability to use a personal computer equipped with standard keyboard and mouse Ability to concentrate and think Ability to meet deadlines and work under stress Regular attendance during business hours is required, with in‑person supervision and interaction with coworkers and supervisors Must be able to work additional hours when needed (e.g., month‑end close)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit at a desk for 8+ hours daily Ability to use standard office equipment Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and by email Occasional lifting, up to 15 lbs Ability to maintain filing systems, both physical and virtual
