Procurement Specialist

Job TitleGeneral PurchasesWorking ConditionsIn Office-based role in a fast-paced environment. Must respond to after-hour emergencies and work non-core hours/overtime to complete projects. May require long hours on certain days.Job Responsibilities And Activities1. Local and International Sourcing & Vendor Management:Source and procure according to factory demands / BOMSearch for vendors and manage onboarding (MSA)Manage, track procured items, Lead Time, Expediting, ETA/ETD2. Negotiation & Cost Management:Price negotiations, and contract management.Analyze procurement risks3. Procurement Operations:Manage routine tasks: PO issuance and document verification.Address on-site abnormal issues promptly.Submit documents to Accounting for payment request4. Reporting & Improvement:Prepare summary reports, update project status, ongoing tasks - weeklyTrack and manage PO ReportDescription Of Job Related ContactsInternal – All other teams, other service centers, and HQ / Corporate. External - Customers/VendorsPosition Qualifications And Requirements1. Special Skills (Computer training, quality training, special programs):Prior source to procure experienceProficiency in MS Office Apps (Excel/PowerPoint)Fluent in Mandarin is highly preferred due to frequent interactions with suppliers and internal teams in Taiwan/China.Business/Price Negotiation experience2. Preferred Education:Bachelor's Degree3. Work Experience (Years of experience in the industry and functional area):1-3 years of experience in Procurement Management & Vendor Management. Sourcing experience preferred
