• Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience. Associate's degree in Drafting, required; previous experience in electro-mechanical design preferred.
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances and ASME Y 14.100 and ASME Y14.5.
• Communication skills: ability to receive messages by telephone, in person, electronically and in writing; ability to read technical publications.
• Computer skills: ability to use computer-aided design software suites; Creo and AutoCAD computer-aided design software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• Generate mechanical layouts and new drawings with engineering input from Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
• Liaison between Responsible Engineer and Mechanical Engineer for design layout.
• Prepare parts lists.
• Design with DFM and DFA in mind.
• Manage the creation, revision and release of CAD models and drawings using PTC/Windchill.
