Project Manager

Responsibilities:- Responsible for all aspects of the PMBOK's guide for roles and responsibilities for Project Management Professionals- Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks- Meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items- Ensuring conformance with program task schedules and costs- Establishing and maintaining technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers- Organizing and delegating responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments- Responsible to lead and motivate project participants to ensure project completionQualifications:- US citizenship is required- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline plus 8 years of experience. Education Substitution: For each year of degree required, 2 years of experience may be substituted. - PMP Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months from start of contract- Thorough knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies- Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives- Extensive knowledge of project management processes and IT Service Management concepts- Experience in technical problem solving and crisis management concepts- Strong verbal and written communications skillsPosting Date:Department: -
