Labor Relations Specialist/Senior Analyst Job Number: 26034 Functional Area: Human Resources Department: Vice President for Human Resources School Area: VP for Human Resources Pay Range Minimum: $93,800 Pay Range Maximum: $122,080 Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid) Employment Category: Exempt Visa Sponsorship Available: No Schedule: Standard Pay Grade: 9 Posting Description LABOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST/SENIOR ANALYST, Vice President for Human Resources, to support administration of collective bargaining agreements and management of our unionized workforce. This role combines analytical expertise with hands‑on employee relations responsibilities, requiring strong problem‑solving skills and knowledge of labor relations and contract interpretation; advise managers on contract compliance, union personnel supervision, and labor‑related issues; conduct grievance hearings, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution; draft decisions and labor relations documentation; prepare statistical analyses and costing models for negotiations and arbitrations; maintain wage data, benefits utilization, union membership records, and grievance statistics; participate in labor‑management meetings, negotiations, and arbitrations; develop and deliver training programs on contract compliance and union environment management; and support strategic HR projects and process improvement initiatives. Job Requirements REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related discipline; a minimum of five years of experience in labor relations, HR analytics, or advising in a unionized environment; demonstrated proficiency with HRIS systems, Excel, SAP, FileMaker, and reporting tools; excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact constructively with employees at all levels and union representatives; and strong organizational and record‑management skills.
