Lead Mechanic Job Duties and Responsibilities Train and follow company and OSHA safety rules and policies Assist mechanical team in safely and efficiently producing top quality Work with Maintenance Manager on efficient and effective PM program Recommend machinery modifications and implement positive equipment changes Ensure all required machinery lubrication and preventive maintenance logs are complete Make sure machines are running at required efficiencies. Lead Mechanic Job Requirements Reductive troubleshooting and logical reasoningskills Must have electrical competencies working with 24-480 volts Manufacturing background is a must Preferred experience with Microsoft office, experience CMMS system (computerized maintenance system like emaint) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to lift and carry up to 25pounds up to occasionally 50 pounds Ability to walk and stand for up to 10 hours per shift Company Profile Independent Can Company has experienced outstanding growth since inception in 1929.
