Working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy, the team delivers flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Anduril's next-generation autonomous air platforms to operate in complex and contested environments. AD&S Electrical Engineers drive end-to-end development, from system architecture and circuit design to verification, integration, and flight test, ensuring scalable, mission-ready solutions that meet the performance, reliability, and survivability demands of the U.S. Military and modern air warfare.About The JobWe are looking for an Electrical Test Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will work closely with avionic, system, and software engineers to create test systems for development, qualification, verification, and validation purposes. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware, we are looking for you.What You Will DoCreate test systems to support all phases of product developmentBuild up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight testsManage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stagesParticipate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choicesConduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent3+ years in electrical testing lab environmentProficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applicationsFamiliarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)Must possess excellent communication skillsEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePreferred QualificationsExperienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs5+ years hands on experience in using programming of test software (Python, PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)5+ years design experience with Altium or other ECADUS Salary Range$129,000 - $171,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
