We are seeking a relationship-driven, technical Project Manager to lead software and hardware engineering projects for our client’s fast-paced, customer-centric tech organization. This individual will have the opportunity to drive critical custom engineering projects for some of the world's best-known companies and up-and-coming organizations, transforming their industries and markets. Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning for hardware, firmware, and machine learning engineering initiatives, including scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans that clearly define tasks, ownership, schedules, dependencies, and progress.
• Track engineering work through Jira and help ensure project activity is accurately captured, organized, and updated.
• Coordinate project schedules across hardware, firmware, and machine learning teams to keep priorities clear and work moving forward.
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning meetings to review progress, address blockers, adjust timelines, and keep teams aligned.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables to help ensure projects are completed on time and at the expected quality level.
• Identify project risks early and work with the right stakeholders to create practical mitigation plans.
• Partner with engineering teams to document issues, anomalies, testing outcomes, and follow-up actions that need to be resolved.
• Coordinate with quality assurance to support testing, verification, validation, and product reliability efforts.
• Communicate project updates to executives, engineering leaders, internal stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
• Lead project meetings in a way that keeps discussions focused, decisions clear, and next steps documented.
• Support communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders by translating complex information into clear updates.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, or suppliers when needed to support project requirements.
• Look for ways to improve project management processes, team workflows, documentation, and overall delivery efficiency.
• Help create a project environment where teams understand expectations, communicate openly, and stay accountable to commitments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of 
• PMP or other project management certification preferred but not required 
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience supporting technology projects
• Experience working in a technology, electronics, hardware, firmware, or product development environment.
• Strong understanding of hardware development processes, firmware development lifecycles, and technical project workflows.
• Familiarity with programming languages, firmware platforms, or engineering development tools.
• Experience using Atlassian tools, especially Jira or Confluence, to manage projects, tasks, documentation, and team activity.
• Ability to lead multiple technical contributors, including engineers with different levels of experience.
• Comfortable operating in an Agile or Scrum-like environment where priorities can change, and teams need clear direction.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, details, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to different audiences.
• Confidence leading meetings with engineers, executives, and broader stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a practical approach to removing roadblocks and keeping work moving.
• Ability to make timely decisions, adjust plans when needed, and stay calm when priorities shift.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to see what needs to be done without waiting for constant direction.
