As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Clearance in Humble TX this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.84 / Hour

Day Time

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures for access control at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or identification and document visitor activity in accordance with post orders and facility protocols.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for conditions that may require reporting or further security-related attention.
• Support emergency response activities by helping to control access direct foot traffic and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
