School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to serve elementary students from PreK through 8th grade in Norwich, CT. This full-time position offers a 35-hour workweek, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing services to a caseload of 40-50 students. The contract begins August 18, 2026, and concludes June 10, 2027.


Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans and conducting progress monitoring to ensure effective intervention.


Qualifications and preferred experience:

• Valid Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to support diverse student populations
• Experience working in school settings with PreK to 8th grade students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
