You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the TALENT ACQUISITION AND STAFFING DIRECTORATES EAST of OFFICE OF CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS.

Key Responsibilities

You will apply human resources concepts, laws, policies and practices in the provision of recruitment and placement services requiring the use of internal and/or external recruitment methods.

Requirements & Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-09: master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B.

or J.D., if related GS-07: Successfully completed one full year of graduate level education; or Successfully completed a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement (see below for clarification text); or A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. SUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT (SAA): Superior Academic Achievement is based on: (1) class standing; (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership. 1.

Class standing - applicants must be in the upper third of graduating class in the college or university attending based on courses completed. 2. Grade-point average (G.P.A) - applicants must have a grade-point average of: a. 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) as recorded on official transcript or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of my curriculum, or b.

Based on grade-point average of 3.45 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum. 3. Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society as listed by the Association of College Honor Societies. Membership in a freshman honor society cannot be used to meet the requirements of this provision.
