VP / Executive Director, Medical Affairs - Cardiorenal & CKD Lead

VP / Executive Director, Medical Affairs – Cardiorenal & CKD Lead Remote | United States | Full-Time Summary A senior Medical Affairs leadership opportunity with a high-growth clinical-stage biotech advancing a differentiated pipeline across kidney disease, cardiorenal disease and precision medicine. The role will help shape and execute Medical Affairs strategy across progressing renal programs, with particular focus on CKD, APOL1-mediated kidney disease, genetic kidney disease, renal endpoints and broader cardiovascular-renal-metabolic (CVRM) risk. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scientific engagement strategies, developing relationships with leading nephrology and cardiorenal experts, supporting evidence generation and preparing the organisation for upcoming clinical and potential commercial milestones. Ideal Background MD or MD/PhD preferred; PharmD or PhD candidates with substantial relevant Medical Affairs leadership experience may be considered Strong therapeutic expertise in Nephrology, CKD, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Genetics or broader cardiorenal / CVRM disease Current or recent experienceat Executive Director / VP / Senior Medical Director / Global Medical Affairs Lead level Demonstrated Medical Affairs leadership within biotech or pharmaceutical organisations, ideally across clinical-stage and/or pre-commercial assets Experience developing and executing Medical Affairs strategy across Phase 2, Phase 3 and/or pre-launch programs Strong understanding of CKD, APOL1-mediated kidney disease, FSGS, proteinuria / albuminuria, eGFR and related renal endpoints Established experience engaging nephrology / cardiorenal KOLs, investigators, scientific societies and external experts Expertise in scientific communications, medical education, advisory boards, publications and evidence-generation planning Experience supporting investigator-initiated studies, real-world evidence and medical insights generation Ability to collaborate closely with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Commercial and Market Access Comfortable working in a fast-paced, clinical-stage biotech environment Compensation Base: Approximately $400,000–$450,000 USD , depending on level, experience and overall fit #J-18808-Ljbffr i‑Pharm Consulting
