CT Technologist
Plan A Health
Role: Performs computerized tomographic radiographs following established protocols, reviewing exams for appropriateness, and prioritizing cases. Supports new employee orientation, maintains credentials, and may perform general radiology or lab testing as needed. Responsibilities Utilizes clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and evidence-based guidelines to manage imaging procedures. Communicates effectively with patients, addressing concerns and promoting a compassionate environment. Educates patients, involves multidisciplinary teams, and ensures optimal exam flow and resource utilization. Assesses safety, performs quality and safety checks, and verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness before imaging. Supports organizational goals through evidence-based practices, quality initiatives, and professional development. Qualifications & Skills ARRT certification required. NM Computed Tomography License or Provisional License required. Current BLS certification required. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and patient care skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
