Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - $1,708 per week

Job Details:

• 1 year of nursing experience required - unit does not accept first-time travelers

• Travel experience required

• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Every other weekend coverage required

• No call responsibilities

• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed

• Holiday work requirements: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 out of 3 if 3 fall during assignment

• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• Full compliance required to start on time - 2 week pushback if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract

• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager or above - charge not accepted)

• Required certifications: BLS

• Epic charting system experience required

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Skills include: Isolation Precautions, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Telemetry, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac

• Orientation hours and modules completed during orientation (non-billable, factored into NBO)
