What You’ll Do Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Work effectively in a team environment to promote productivity Attend daily shift meetings to measure progress and obtain feedback. Inspect outgoing material for accuracy Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Crosstrain on multiple machines Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture Perform additional duties as needed What You’ll Need Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits Ability to stand for duration of a shift, up to 12 hours; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced continually changing environment Ability to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elements Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
