Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Implement and modify treatment plans, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional independence.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises, range of motion activities, and gait training; monitor patient responses and progress.
- Document sessions and communication notes accurately; collaborate with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and activities of daily living.
- Ensure patient safety, proper equipment use, and adherence to infection control and documentation standards.

Requirements
- Current California license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Experience: SNF experience and NetHealth (Rehab Optima) knowledge preferred
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting
