Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other client sites, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. This role involves operating portable radiography equipment, performing exams, and collaborating with radiologists and cardiologists for interpretations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment and transmit images for interpretation.
• Unload, transport, and set up portable X-ray equipment at various facilities to perform physician-ordered exams.
• Conduct EKGs as needed and transmit results to cardiologists for analysis.
• Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain vehicle, X-ray, and EKG equipment in optimal condition, adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ARRT certification and state licensure, maintaining compliance with all licensing requirements.
• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing and be physically capable of pushing/pulling up to 50-100 lbs as required.
• Exhibit strong technical skills in operating portable radiography and EKG equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and professionalism in interactions with clients and team members.
• Willing to travel frequently and adapt to varying work environments.
