Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Bowling Green, KY
Unit Information:
- Number of Cath Lab Suites: 2
- Patient Ratios: 4-person team per 1 patient
- Unit Staffing Description: Cath Lab Scrub Techs available per case
- Type of Equipment: GE Cath Lab Equipment, IVUS, VOLCANO
- Documentation System: Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Call required 1 weekend/month and 1-2 days per week
- Floating Policy: Cath Lab, OP Stress Test
- Weekly Hours: 40
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS for Cath Lab RNs and Techs
- Tech Certifications: Valid ARRT and RCIS certification for KY
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab procedures and 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience
Procedures Performed:
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Lab Procedures:
- Left Heart Catheterization
- Right Heart Catheterization
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
- Cardioversion
- Pacemaker Implants
- Defibrillator Implants
- TILT Testing
- Stress Tests
Dress Code:
Solid color scrubs are required.
Awards and Recognition:

- State-of-the-art Cath Lab opened in March 2023.
- Equipped with brand new Electrophysiology (EP) equipment.
