Registered Nurse (PRN) - Paragon Infusion Centers

Job Title Registered Nurse (PRN) – Paragon Infusion Centers Location: Coppell, TX (113 State Highway 121) Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Schedule: PRN; minimum 1–2 shifts per week Responsibilities Administer all ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy. Perform duties within the Nurse’s scope of practice, facility policies/procedures, INS standards of practice, and approved protocols. Complete the admission process as directed by the Center Director. Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults; refer to the NP on duty as needed. Document all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record. Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follow up on any identified problem. Evaluate the patient’s response to therapy and document findings. Educate patients and/or family members regarding the therapy plan. Ensure medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment. Adhere to all applicable state, local, and Federal laws and regulations, including HIPAA confidentiality requirements. Minimum Qualifications ASN or ADN with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state; multi-state licensure required if services are provided in multiple states. Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination (or signed waiver) for Paragon and Carelon Health business unit. Preferred Skills and Experience BSN preferred. Experience with IVs, Ports, PICCs, and peripheral lines. Medication mixing and titration experience. Knowledge of medical insurance terminology. Exceptional time-management skills. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
