Job Title : Patient Access Representative/Intake Specialist Location : Pittsfield, MA 01201 Duration : 2+ months contract (Possible extension ) Education : High school Diploma Job Description: Review and process referral packets to ensure all required information is complete and accurate before the patient's first visit. Enter referral and patient information into internal systems in a timely manner. Coordinate with referral sources, clinicians, and internal departments to obtain missing documentation and resolve discrepancies. Verify health insurance coverage requirements and confirm eligibility for services. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements. Schedule home health visits and support ongoing home health scheduling activities.
