Project Manager

Location: Waco, TX and surrounding job sites Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried with Bonus Structure Position Summary The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the execution of residential construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining schedules, tracking progress and budgets, ensuring quality, and communicating with clients. The PM is expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong relational leader who embodies Whyte Oak Homes' core values, captured in the acronym

Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Oversight Lead day-to-day operations on assigned construction projects Maintain construction schedules and communicate key milestones Conduct regular job site walkthroughs and quality checks Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timelines and scope adherence Review construction plans, update as-builts, and communicate changes Client & Internal Communication Provide consistent updates to clients throughout construction Collaborate closely with internal team and office staff Maintain documentation in Buildertrend (daily logs, photos, and notes) Participate in weekly team check-ins and monthly goal reviews Assist in procuring subcontractor bids and supplier quotes for upcoming projects Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for all committed project expenses Track receipts and confirm delivery of materials and services Manage project budgets and update cost tracking systems regularly Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for all committed project expenses Validate subcontractor work and approve invoices for payment Track receipts and confirm delivery of materials and services Manage project budgets and update cost tracking systems regularly Identify and minimize costly errors or delays Subcontractor Relations & Quality Control Ensure work meets Whyte Oak’s quality standards Resolve job site issues with professionalism and urgency Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Reporting & Administrative Coordinate and manage warranty repairs as needed for Whyte Oak Homes Use Buildertrend for schedules, daily logs, and trade assignments Participate in post-completion punch walks and warranty documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr Whyte Oak Homes
