Job Description
An Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle systems and the ability to perform thorough inspections and test drives to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics to identify vehicle issues
- Conduct repairs and routine maintenance
- Inspect vehicles for safety and performance standards
- Replace parts as needed
- Conduct test drives to verify repair quality
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in engine diagnostics
- Experience with brake system repair
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Transmission repair skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Effective time management
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in automotive repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
