Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have: Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and placing IVs. Experience in ortho-total joint and trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures. Experience with Epic charting system.

Description: Responsible for providing direct patient care in the operating room. Skills required include general OR experience and proficiency in various surgical procedures. Competencies must include a wide range of surgical techniques such as laparoscopic and open surgeries. Must be knowledgeable about infection control, fire safety, and blood administration protocols. Participants should be familiar with universal protocol and time-out procedures. Experience with advanced surgical technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes. Call duties are required as part of the role. This position requires adaptability to diverse surgical cases and a commitment to high standards of patient care. Candidates will be expected to float to various surgical specialties as needed.
