An urgent care clinic located inside a large retail and entertainment complex is seeking an MD for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP for 6 months. The clinician will provide walk-in care for patients of all ages, handling an expected patient volume of 40 patients per day. This is a day shift opportunity with no call required. Practice Info Urgent care clinic located inside a large retail and entertainment complex Single-coverage model with one CMA and one manager present on-site per shift Responsibilities Provide urgent care services during day shifts at an on-site clinic Evaluation and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups Required procedures include laceration repairs and suturing Shift & Schedule Dates needed: ASAP - 6 months Shift type: Day Shift Call required: No Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Qualifications Board certification is negotiable Active state license required DEA required Prescriptive authority required
