About the Position
Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A driver for local delivery operations based in New Haven, Indiana. This dedicated position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and a driver-focused work environment.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $25 per hour plus overtime
- Schedule: First shift, 4 to 5 days per week
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Start Date: August 24, 2026
- Employment Type: Dedicated
- Home Time: Home daily
Job Details
- Route Type: Local delivery within a 100-mile radius
- Service Area: Primarily deliveries to Northlake, Illinois
- Freight: Plastics and moldings
- Handling: No-touch freight
- Equipment: Automatic transmission
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport plastics and moldings in accordance with DOT and safety standards
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Meet the physical demands of the position
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL A license
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- No endorsements required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
