Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician to practice part time (.5 FTE) in Perham, Minnesota. Perham Health includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, 98-bed skilled nursing, assisted living facility, and three clinics. Practitioners enjoy a shared practice concept and consists of 11 Family Medicine physicians, 13 Advanced Practice Providers, 1 Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner, 1 Psychologist and 2 Surgeons; specialty outreach is provided by Detroit Lakes and Fargo providers. APP works as second provider evenings and weekends. 7,000+ ED visits annually. Level IV trauma center. Full lab and radiology on-site, plus advanced life support EMS that works in the field available to support the ED as needed. 12 or 24 hour shifts and on average 36-48 hours per week. Full time ER coverage.

Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including a health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance. Annual compensation range (based on 1.0 FTE): $344,635 - $445,998. Additional incentives may be offered. Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice and actual job requirements.

Perham city population: 3,000 or 10,000 when the surrounding lakes areas are included. New state of the art school built in Perham. Located just 70 miles east of Fargo, North Dakota making shopping, sporting events, concerts and other events easy to attend.
