What You Will Be Doing Oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families Shepherd families through each stage of the admissions process with reliable follow-up and clearly defined next steps Facilitate and implement admissions events, such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings Collaborate with campus teams to arrange student visits and deliver a smooth, welcoming experience Keep admissions records current and accurate, monitoring all applications and follow-up activities What You Won’t Be Doing Working exclusively in administrative tasks with no direct family engagement Functioning within a slow-moving or overly bureaucratic system Concentrating solely on messaging without robust execution and accountability Developing admissions strategy or making final decisions on enrollment Family Engagement Coordinator Key Responsibilities Deliver a clear, responsive, and meticulously executed admissions experience that drives enrollment strength and positive family outcomes. Basic Requirements 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events Nice-to-have Requirements Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families About Waypoint Academy Nature-based school that blends rigorous academics with real-world challenges. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
