Videographer

Canyon Ranch Operating, LLC

Overview

Canyon Ranch is seeking a talented, highly creative Videographer to join our Brand Creative team in Austin, Texas. This role will help bring the Canyon Ranch experience to life through compelling, social-first video storytelling — capturing the people, places, experiences, and moments that define our brand and then editing these stories to come to life.

We’re looking for someone with a strong visual point of view who understands how great content performs across today’s social platforms. You should be equally comfortable capturing a beautifully composed cinematic moment and moving quickly to create an authentic, of-the-moment Reel.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can take a piece of content from idea to finished product — concepting, shooting, editing, and delivering polished video with speed and creative instinct.

WORK LOCATION: Onsite at our Austin property.

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE
  • Shoot and edit engaging, social-first video content for Canyon Ranch across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels.
  • Capture the Canyon Ranch experience through wellness, fitness, spa, culinary, outdoor adventure, expert-led programming, events, people, and place.
  • Create a range of video styles, from elevated brand storytelling and cinematic property footage to quick-turn Reels, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and culturally relevant social moments.
  • Partner closely with the Creative, Social, Brand, and Marketing teams to develop concepts and translate creative ideas into compelling video.
  • Identify opportunities for content proactively — spotting moments, stories, personalities, and experiences worth capturing.
  • Film interviews with Canyon Ranch experts, chefs, visiting talent, guests, and other brand voices, helping subjects feel natural and comfortable on camera.
  • Edit footage into concise, engaging stories designed specifically for social consumption, with a strong understanding of pacing, hooks, music, text, transitions, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Adapt footage into multiple formats and edits for different channels and uses.
  • Manage video assets, footage, selects, and project files to maintain an organized and accessible content library.
  • Stay current on emerging social video trends, editing styles, platform capabilities, and creative techniques — while knowing how to interpret them through the Canyon Ranch brand rather than simply following trends.
  • Support larger brand shoots, campaigns, events, and special projects as needed.
  • Travel to other Canyon Ranch destinations and brand events to capture content.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional videography and editing skills, particularly short-form and social-first content.
  • A sophisticated visual eye and strong sense of composition, lighting, movement, pacing, and storytelling.
  • Deep familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and evolving social video formats.
  • Ability to shoot confidently using professional camera equipment as well as mobile devices when the moment or platform calls for it.
  • Advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional editing software.
  • Working knowledge of audio capture, lighting, color correction, and basic motion graphics.
  • Ability to work independently from concept through final edit while also collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary creative team.
  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to understand what feels elevated, authentic, and distinctly Canyon Ranch.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where some content is carefully planned and other opportunities happen in real time.
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, footage, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • A collaborative, curious approach and enthusiasm for wellness, hospitality, travel, culture, and storytelling.
WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE
  • Use of services and facilities including the spa, fitness classes, lectures, and overnight stays at all Canyon Ranch locations nationwide.
  • Onsite meals provided for resort colleagues
  • Generous health plan including Health, Dental and Vision after 30 days of employment
  • 25 Days of time off including personal and holidays
  • Supplemental Health care options including Accidental, Critical Illness and Hospital care
  • Employer-paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Maternity leave
