Make a difference in students’ lives by bringing your dedication to education as a paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year! Multiple full-time contract positions are available to work in a dynamic, supportive school setting near Grand Blanc, MI. Assignments run from August 17 to June 11, and offer an opportunity to support learners across various grade levels and needs.

You may be placed 1:1 in self-contained, resource, or general classrooms—working directly with students with cognitive, emotional, or physical support needs, including those requiring health aide functions such as personal care and toileting. Placement options are available in elementary, middle, and high school environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit, OR an associate degree (or higher)
• Alternatively, a passing score on either the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (at least 460) or the College Board SAT (minimum 480 on evidence-based reading/writing and 530 in math)
• Copy of official university transcripts required before consideration
• Experience with students with cognitive, emotional, or physical impairments preferred
• Compassion, reliability, and adaptability in classroom settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct classroom and 1:1 support to students with varying needs
• Assist educators in modifying lesson plans and class activities
• Provide supervision and personal care, including toileting and diapering assistance as needed
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Observe, document, and report student progress

Contracts are full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7:15am–3:15pm or 8:15am–4:15pm, depending on school assignment). Virtual interviews provide a convenient first step in the hiring process.
