Sales Assistant

Description A sales assistant supports the product specialist by assisting customers, managing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth sales process, while also maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Requirements Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Answer customer questions about vehicles, financing, and the sales process. Help customers find the right vehicle by understanding their needs and preferences. Prepare vehicles for test drives and ensure they are clean and presentable. Sales Support: Assist sales representatives with managing customer inquiries and follow-ups. Process paperwork, including sales orders, contracts, and financing applications. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales data. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., finance, service) to ensure a smooth customer experience. General Office Tasks: Answer phones and manage customer inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized showroom and office. Manage inventory and track vehicle availability. Prepare reports and documents as needed. Other Duties: Assist with special events and promotions. Follow up with customers after their purchase to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Skills and Qualifications Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues. Customer Service Skills: A strong customer service orientation is crucial for building rapport and resolving customer issues. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and other dealership systems. Product Knowledge: A good understanding of vehicles, financing options, and dealership policies is helpful. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with sales representatives and other team members.
