Supervisory Firefighter

Overview You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER of NAS KEY WEST. Specialized Experience Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying potential hazards associated with fire suppression, rescue operations, and hazardous materials. Implementing fire protection and prevention training programs and projects. Providing guidance on fire prevention programs to ensure compliance with organizational policies. Certifications Required Certification Requirements: The incumbent of this position must possess the following certifications: Firefighter I & II Airport Firefighter Fire Officer III Fire Instructor II Fire Inspector II HazMat Technician HazMat Incident Commander NATIONAL REGISTERED EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (NREMT) All firefighter related certificates must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC, or ProBoard to meet the certification requirement. Must also possess NREMT certification. All certifications must be submitted with application or you will be rated ineligible.
