Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring WA or compact RN license and telemetry/ACLS skills on night shift.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center hospital
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend required
• Floating between units required
• Block schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide PCU-level nursing care within a trauma center setting
• Scrubs of any color are accepted; surgical services attire provided
• Floating between facilities within the state may be required
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not be within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Minimal to no time off requests accommodated during this assignment
