Description

Oneida Health is currently looking for a per diem Medical Office Assistant to serve in our Hamilton Orthopedics Office. This position is designed to be both clinical and administrative and reports to the Practice Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while providing a high level of customer service. Medical experience is a plus, but not required.

• Checking equipment and stocking supplies as needed.
• Placing supply and pharmacy orders.
• Facilitating and executing physician orders as directed.
• Coordinating and scheduling referrals and surgeries.

Qualifications

Your Essential Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Experience: Medical Office: 1 year (Preferred) Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
