TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Hickory, NC.

CDL A Truck Driver Details

Schedule: M-F, 6:30-7AM start, 8+ hour shifts, 40+ hours per week.

Pay: $23 Per Hour

Route Type: local

Freight / Load Type: Packaging materials

Equipment: Automatic. Dry van/tractor trailer - 53 foot.

Handling: Light touch - some loading and unloading

CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:

License: CDL A

Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents!)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:

Safely operate an automatic truck with dry van/55' tractor trailer on local routes

Transport packaging materials in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

Perform required handling tasks including some loading and unloading with a pallet jack

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers (this is a customer-facing role for deliveries)

Meet the physical demands of the role, including some loading and unloading
