We are currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team and help create a dining experience that nurtures both body and soul.As a Dietary Aide, you'll be responsible for assisting in meal service and maintaining hospitality standards within the Nursing dining areas. We have 4 nursing dining areas: Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long Term Care, and Skilled Rehab. Your day to day responsibilities will include tasks like helping residents with menu selections, tray assembly, timely meal delivery, serving meals, and managing special requests. You'll work as part of a team to ensure high service standards, contribute to the training of other aides, and model the organization's values. As a member of the Hospitality department, you will work with Dietary Aides, Cooks, CNAs, Nurses, and Stewards, and report to our Certified Dietary Manager and Director of Hospitality.What You Will Do:Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order and cleanlinessCorrectly and efficiently serve meals, take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteouslyPlate according to residents meal ticket and be familiar with residents' therapeutic diets and personal food preferencesClear dishes from tables during and after meal service. Wash and distribute clean dishesMaintain safe and sanitary conditions in work areas and satellite kitchens, including the proper removal and disposal of all garbage and wasteComplete all necessary logs and quality assurance checklists as specifiedFollow the guidance of the Dietary Manager and Hospitality Director and completing any additional tasks when requestedWhat You Will Bring:Required minimum of 1-3 years experience working in hospitality serviceRequired minimum of 1 year experience working at a senior living facility/ health care facilityHigh School or GEDStrong interpersonal skillsCommunication skillsAbility to multitaskFront of house service skillsTeamwork and ability to work independentlyStrong organizational skillsAbility to work under pressureStrong work ethicHospitality mindedPride in a job well doneValue in helping othersWhy You'll Love Us:At Eastcastle Place, we foster a compassionate and supportive environment for both staff and residents, treating everyone with integrity, dignity, and respect.
