Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Milwaukee, WI. This position supports the Property Manager in day-to-day operations, including leasing apartments, conducting property tours, and assisting prospective residents with applications and move-in processes. The role involves responding to resident inquiries, coordinating maintenance requests, and helping ensure that building and grounds are well-maintained and presentable. The Assistant Property Manager helps manage rent collection, prepares notices and basic reports, and maintains accurate resident records and files. This team member collaborates with maintenance and leasing staff, supports resident retention efforts, and contributes to a positive and professional community environment. Qualifications Property management and leasing skills, including experience with resident relations, rental applications, and basic knowledge of fair housing practices. Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members in person, by phone, and in writing. Organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency with scheduling, record-keeping, and handling multiple tasks accurately and on time. Basic financial and reporting skills, such as handling rent payments, preparing simple reports, and working with property management or accounting software. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the capacity to address resident concerns promptly and escape issues appropriately. Comfort working on-site in a multifamily residential setting, including occasional evening or weekend hours as needed. Prior experience in property management, real estate, hospitality, or related fields is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant certifications in property management are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
