Cosmetology ApprenticePosition Summary

Lords & Ladies Salon and Medical Spa is seeking motivated, career-focused individuals to join our Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program. This hands-on training program is designed for licensed cosmetologists who are eager to continue developing their technical skills, client service abilities, and professional confidence while working alongside experienced mentors in a high-performing salon environment.

Apprentices receive structured education, real-world experience, and personalized coaching designed to prepare them for a successful career behind the chair.

What You'll Learn

Throughout the program, apprentices will receive training and support in:

• Guest experience and client consultation
• Professional communication and relationship building
• Haircutting and finishing techniques
• Hair color application and formulation
• Highlighting and blonding services
• Texture and smoothing treatments
• Retail recommendations and home care education
• Time management and booking efficiency
• Business-building and client retention strategies
• Social media and personal brand development
• Sanitation, safety, and salon operations

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed service providers with daily guest services.
• Prepare guests for appointments and ensure a welcoming experience.
• Support salon operations through cleaning, organization, and sanitization.
• Attend all required educational classes, workshops, and training sessions.
• Practice and perform services as permitted within the apprenticeship program.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Follow all salon policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Actively participate in coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and accept feedback.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Cosmetology License.
• Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to professional growth.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
