About the Role:

As a Unit Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit. This includes coordinating patient care, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting positive outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including patient assignments, staffing, and scheduling
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration, wound care, and rehabilitation therapy
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor and report on patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient progress notes and staff performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as social services and dietary, to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures
