In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. Your primary focus will be on preventive maintenance, pool upkeeping, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety. If you have a strong background in maintenance and are passionate about providing exceptional service, we would love for you to join our team.What you're great at:Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locationsMaintain the upkeep of the propertyMaintain property based on standard operating proceduresDetermine the necessary materials, equipment, and suppliesOrder all supplies promptly to complete projectsResponsible for some construction, painting, electrical and plumbingPerform general repairs as needed such as painting, constructing and patching walls, security hardware, and landscapingPerform a variety of skilled work in maintenance, repairs including carpentry, plumbing, filter maintenance, and light fixture maintenanceCoordinate or inspect, operate and maintain the heating, cooling and ventilation systemsPerform routine cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of resort swimming pools, spas, and surrounding pool areasMonitor and maintain proper pool water levels and cleanliness in accordance with established operating proceduresInspect and perform routine maintenance of pool equipment, pumps, filters, heaters, valves, skimmers, and related systemsTest and monitor pool water chemistry and maintain appropriate chemical levels in accordance with established procedures and applicable requirementsSafely handle, store, and use pool chemicals in accordance with company safety procedures and manufacturer instructionsRemove debris and maintain the cleanliness of pool decks, drains, skimmers, and other pool-area surfacesInspect pool areas for safety and maintenance concerns, including damaged equipment, fixtures, fencing, gates, drains, and surrounding surfaces, and promptly report or correct issues as appropriatePerform all other duties as assignedPerform all other duties as assigned.Responsibilities listed may not include all tasks or apply to all resort locations, an official job description will be provided and signed on the first day of employment.Capital Vacations is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
