Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU3x12s, nights, 7p-7:30a EOW --- 6 weekends (both Sat/Sun) in 13-week contract. Individualized scheduling (ie: blocked, other.) Holidays as needed Float required if needed. All travelers subject to float between all Cone Health campuses. Minimum 2 years experience required. First time travelers - OK!BLS, ACLS requiredSICU experience preferredInterpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multi system organ failurePost cardiac surgery (directly from the OR), post cardiac surgery (not directly from the OR), pre post cardiac cath intervention, pulmonary artery line Swan Ganz monitoringECMO, intra-aortic balloon pump, sheath removal, transcatheter aortic valve implantation replacement (TAVI TAVR) preferredIV insulin protocols, chronic acute renal failure preferredCVVHA CRRT requiredArterial line management, blood product administration, central line care & management, PICC line management, starting IVsContinuous IV sedation, titrate cardiac and vasoactive dripsAssist with management of BiPAP and CPAP, assist with chest tube insertion and removal, care of ventilated patient, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator managementMedical surgical cardiac ICU patients: MI, CHF, cardiac surgeries, post cardiac cath, LVAD, Impella, IABP, Arctic Sun, renal failure CRRT, respiratory failure, sepsis. Open heart surgical patients, AAA repair, vascular surgeries, ECMO.
