Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• Experience working in school settings or pediatric populations is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and screenings for speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student IEPs.
• Work across two school sites, serving diverse student populations.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy and support classroom success.
• Maintain clear, detailed records of student progress and document all required reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school team initiatives as needed.
• Offer consultation and resources to staff and parents to foster student growth.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices and evidenced-based interventions in school-based speech pathology.
