Pumps and Controls, a wholesale water treatment equipment supplier based in Arlington, Texas, is seeking candidates for a repair technician role. With nearly 30 years in the industry, the company boasts over 2 million dollars in inventory and a commitment to customer service, treating each order as if it were their own. They offer fast lead times, knowledgeable sales consultants, and a full line of products available at wholesale pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair faulty equipment or devices.
• Disassemble units and replace, adjust, or repair parts.
• Document work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
• Communicate with customers or internal teams about repair status and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Keep up-to-date with new products and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (if applicable).

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in relevant trade or technical field (e.g., CompTIA A+, HVAC certification, ASE certification).
• Experience with inventory management systems and repair ticketing software.
• Experience in Profit 21 a plus
• Valid driver's license (if field work is involved).

Work Environment:

• Workshop, warehouse, or field setting depending on the role.
• May involve exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
