Job Duties Installs, maintains and repairs air, vacuum and piped gas lines and equipment including pumps, tanks and dryers. Installs, maintains and repairs domestic water piping and equipment including pumps, tanks, coils and water heaters. Installs, maintains and repairs steam piping and distribution equipment including reducing station, valves, heaters and sterilizing equipment. Installs, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures. Installs, maintains and repairs sanitary drains, sewers and storm sewers including holding tanks and sewage pumps. Fills out job completion forms and daily reports. Performs preventive maintenance and equipment inspections as assigned. Work is typically performed in an office environment. This position typically works 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; however, hours may vary to meet departmental operational needs. Participation in a rotating weekend and on-call schedule is required.
