About the Role

The Medical Assistant/CNA is a vital role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Medical Assistant/CNA you will assist with procedures, provide education, and support the multidisciplinary team, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care at every step of their path to parenthood.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant/CNA to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Virginia and Maryland supporting clinic locations in Arlington, VA, and Bethesda, MD This is a full-time, onsite position , working Monday through Friday with availability from 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. The role may also include weekend shifts once every 3 weeks, with advance notice and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients, verify medical history, and update patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform basic diagnostic tasks such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are properly stocked and available.
• Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, including follow-ups and referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication protocols, and preventive care measures.
• Ensure a safe and organized environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management and clinical supply ordering.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant training program and certification preferred
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience & Skills:
  
  • 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Strong phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Flexibility:
  
  • Must be flexible and available to travel to other satellite clinic locations and provide coverage on holidays and weekends as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
